Welcome to Advanced Translation Services, a boutique language service company founded in Los Angeles in 1986 with a mission to deliver high quality professional translation and interpreting services.
Initially, the agency specialized in document translation only with an emphasis on Eastern European languages, particularly Russian and Ukrainian. Within a couple of years, the company expanded its translation services to include languages and dialects that are spoken in most of the world’s regions. Today, Advanced Translation Services is a full spectrum service provider of comprehensive linguistic, visa, passport, document legalization and immigration services.
Our most popular working language pairs are English to/from Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, French, German, Italian, Hebrew, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Japanese.

Advanced Translation Services was founded in 1986 by Marina Teper, experienced bilingual business professional and native Russian speaker who sought to utilize her own linguistic and managerial skills to help prospective clients navigate document-related issues. Initially, the agency specialized in document translation with emphasis on Eastern European languages, particularly Russian and Ukrainian.
